Javed Iqbal Umayr was a Pakistani serial murderer and pederast who admitted to sexually abusing and murdering 100 boys between the ages of 6 and 16. To hide the evidence, Iqbal strangled the victims, dismember their bodies, and dissolved them in acid. Four accomplices, teenage boys who had shared Iqbal's three-bedroom flat, were arrested in Sohawa. Within days, one of them died in CIA custody, apparently by jumping from a window on the third floor of the CIA headquarters on Dec 7, 1999. And before he was to be executed in the same matter as his victims, Iqbal and his other accomplice S were found dead in their cell and had allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves with bedsheets, though there has been speculation that they were murdered. Autopsies revealed that they had been beaten prior to death.
