Hello, this is my first forum post! I love to listen to all the mainstream half-informative true crime podcasts with my friends on road trips and dissect them for their inconsistencies. It was actually listening to a big-platform podcast episode about Israel Keyes that led me to find lolfieldandlove on youtube and come to this website! I have many questions about BTK from listening to The First Degree's 3-part series. I don't recall much from PTK about BTK, and I've searched through the old forum posts for info on him. He seems like a patsy or fall-guy, right? I believe the Otero family killings had to do with the father's involvement with the Inter-American Air Forces Academy, although I cannot begin to guess exactly how. I'm curious as to how Dennis becomes involved here. You might want to listen to the episodes of The First Degree, because they bring on the show Dennis's daughter. She spoke about her complete ignorance of "that side" of her father. He certainly seems to have different sides to him and spoke about "Factor X" and "Batter" (which was left unmentioned on the podcast, only "Factor X" was brought up). I am intensely curious about his time in the military and what any of you might know about the man alleged to be BTK. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read or comment on this!
