In the documentary “Ken and Barbie Killers: The Lost Murder Tapes” Season 1 Episode 3, at the 15:52 mark (Thank you Patrick for uploading those btw) , Karla Homolka states that she drugged her sister with a ‘Halothane’ soaked rag. But various other news agencies to include Wikipedia report that the drug used was ‘Halcion’ which is a completely different drug. Is this just a misunderstanding of pharmacological drugs or is this yet another attempt to muddy the waters of what really happened by mainstream media and law enforcement agencies?

The documentary also states that Paul Bernardo demanded that Karla perform cunnilingus on her sister while she was incapacitated. I’ve searched the various websites, for an article corroborating this account and have found nothing. Did that really happen or is it just more hype and misinformation on the part of mainstream media?

Also the documentary in episode 2 starting at the 40:05 mark, states that the Law Enforcement Agencies spent a total of over 10 weeks (71 days) searching the house of Bernardo and Homolka, to find evidence of the murders of Leslie Mahaffey and Kristen French, as they we supposedly kept in the house. Yet the search which consisted of the walls, flooring, stairs, concrete, drainage system, carpet areas, basement and other aspects of the structure being ripped apart, yeilded no results of physical evidence. At the 40:47 mark you can hear the various reporters state, “they vacuumed every inch for hair and fiber, they scanned these walls with ultraviolet, infrared and forced light for fingerprints.” “Ten weeks they spent in that house, looking for every little shred that would corroborate Karla Homolka’s story and that would go to building and air tight case against Paul Bernardo, um it was exhausting.” “They failed to find any physical evidence showing the slain teenagers had ever been inside.” “They were in that house for seventy one days, dozens and dozens of officers were involved. And they never found the video tapes.” “My guess is: that they’re like wherever those tapes are they’re not here, and he probably destroyed them because what normal person wouldn’t destroy tapes that would send you away for life?” “The situation facing the police is daunting. They had no circumstantial evidence, they had no forensic evidence. The reality is, the police had virtually nothing to tie Paul Bernardo to this crime. They have one witness. It’s Karla Homolka. The poor woman who was abused by this horrible man. Without the tapes being found, the entire case revolves around her testimony.”

Then magically after over two months of tearing the house apart and the warrant being expired, Bernardo’s defense attorney comes to the house with a map drawn by Bernardo and removes a light fixture, reaches in and finds six VHS tapes that were used to film the rapes/murders.

So we’re to believe that a couple that housed two victims for multiple days, rapes, strangles and dismembers the body with a chainsaw of all things! One of the messiest tools that could be used. That there was ZERO physical or forensic evidence? Something doesn’t add up here. There is no way that could be the case. If there was no evidence in that house then those girls weren’t murdered at that location.
