After several months of denials, my Roy Ames Wikipedia article has finally been published!
I think I may have figured out who "Danny" is from this article about Roy Ames:
Looking into prominent Houston families brought this name up: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynn_Wyatt
There's some bizarre things already with this family, but they do have a son who totally fits Danny's age: Douglas Bryan Wyatt.
Douglas Wyatt became a lawyer, getting his law license in 1982 from the University of Houston: https://www.texasbar.com/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Find_A_Lawyer&template=/Customsource/MemberDirectory/MemberDirectoryDetail.cfm&ContactID=217469
The Plain Dealer article also talks about Danny living with his grandparents:
In 1991, Douglas sued his uncle over his share of his late grandfather's estate.
In that same article, it is alleged that Douglas belongs to a "gay neo-nazi cult" out of New York called Eternal Values.
As for his father, Douglas was a child from Lynn's first marriage and was adopted by her second husband and oil man Oscar Wyatt: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Wyatt
Wyatt would ran into trouble for illegally doing business with Iraq during the US sanctions.
His first father Robert Lipman, was arrested for murdering a French prostitute in 1968 and released in 1974.
This is still speculative but a lot of details do line up. I need to dig deeper on Eternal Values one of these days but so far it reminds me a lot of NXVIM.

Ahern's letters to editors caused such an uproar for readers of the Houston Post that a section was dedicated solely to people's responses to him.
In 1965, Steven Dale Ahern, then 19, went on a public campaign outing several ranking members of the Southern California Young Republicans Club as being Nazis planning a take over.
One of the accused members was President George Joseph King Jr. who was a Minutemen member convicted of attempting to sell firearms to undercover feds, thinking that they were prospective Minutemen recruits.
Turns out he was even investigated by the FBI on the day Kennedy was killed when it was learned that he and others had talked about killing the president. He was also associated with William Potter Gale.
Here's a trove of archival material relating to Meaux and his sex crimes. I have yet to go through all of it myself: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1X27I_TZaW027ctXZvBb_9DzwQSinLoyt/view
Meaux first got arrested in 1968 along with an accomplice named Charlie Booth for violating "The White Slavery Act".
He claimed that he and Booth took a fall for larger network of influential players in Houston music and Radio:
This crime was eventually pardoned by Jimmy Carter on November 1st, 1977:
MK-ULTRA
This post is an attempt to show the secret workings of clandestine mind control operations. Pornography, cults, music and drugs are a very integral part of government conspiracies. Dean Corll was part of an undercover MK-ULTRA white supremacist operation with many links. Most of the info in this post is already posted on this thread, I'm just presenting an argument. Thnx to everyone on this thread for the info! Here we go.

SugarHill Recording Studios is a recording studio in Houston, Texas. The studio was important in launching the careers of such artists as Lightnin' Hopkins, The Big Bopper, Destiny's Child, George Jones, the Sir Douglas Quintet, Roy Head, Beyonce and Freddy Fender. A landmark in the Houston music community, SugarHill celebrated its 78th year of operation in October 2019.
Doug Sahm & The Sir Douglas Quintet
In 1964, Doug Sahm's Markays found themselves sharing the stage with Augie Meyers' Goldens, both opening for British headliners the Dave Clark Five. For several years, Sahm had been pestering producer Huey P. Meaux, nicknamed the "Crazy Cajun," to record him... The story goes that Meaux, not to be outdone by a bunch of British upstarts, headed for San Antonio where he shut himself away in a hotel room with a bountiful supply of Thunderbird wine and every Beatles' record he could find, determined to discover what made them sell. His conclusion: "The beat was on the beat, just like a Cajun two-step." He then called Sahm, told him to grow his hair long, form a group, and write a song with a Cajun two-step beat. Doug assembled a band composed of members of his own Markays and Augie's Goldens. Meaux gave them an English sounding name, the Sir Douglas Quintet and, in 1965, scored an international hit with "She's About A Mover," an infectious blend of Texas pop and the Beatles' "She's A Woman." The song was recorded on January, 14, 1965, and proved to be their all-time biggest hit.

"Since such a business venture as this was a little ahead of its time for mid'60's South Texas, in late 1967 he moved with his young family to Hollywood California where Charles Winans again played an important role in the evolution of the Psychedelic cultural movement. There he was professionally associated with Chet Helms, Wavy Gravy, the Sir Douglas Quintet, Janis Joplin, Lenny Bruce, Frank Zappa, Jefferson Airplane among many others."

Photo of the Log Cabin "Sun Room" and Tree House on Laurel Canyon
Originally built in 1915 the log cabin was a tavern and later the home of Tom Mix, the famous film cowboy actor...
Photo of the original Laurel Tavern 1903
In 1913, Charles Mann built Laurel Tavern, the structure boasted a 2,000+ square-foot formal dining room, guest rooms, and a bowling alley on the basement level. The Laurel Tavern, of course, would later be acquired by Tom Mix, after which it would be affectionately known as the Log Cabin. The grounds of the Laurel Tavern/Log Cabin were also laced with odd caves and tunnels.
As Michael Walker notes in Laurel Canyon, “Running up the hillside, behind the house, was a collection of man-made caves built out of stucco, with electric wiring and light bulbs inside.” According to various accounts, one secret tunnel running under what is now Laurel Canyon Boulevard connected the Log Cabin (or its guesthouse) to the Houdini estate. This claim is frequently denounced as an urban legend, The Tavern itself, as Gail Zappa would later describe it, was “huge and vault-like and cavernous.
During the early years of its heyday, Laurel Canyon’s father figure is the rather eccentric personality known as Frank Zappa. Though he and his various Mothers of Invention line-ups will never attain the commercial success of the band headed by the admiral’s son, Frank will be a hugely influential figure among his contemporaries. Ensconced in an abode dubbed the ‘Log Cabin’ – which sat right in the heart of Laurel Canyon, at the crossroads of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Lookout Mountain Avenue – Zappa will play host to virtually every musician who passes through the canyon in the mid- to late-1960s.

Frank Zappa
Laurel Canyon was the physical focal point of the blues-inspired Psychedlic rock movement, and Frank Zappa's rented cabin at Lookout Mountain and Laurel Canyon Boulevard was the center of Laurel Canyon's crazed rock scene. The people who made appearances at the lower cabin that was home to silent film star, Tom Mix, and at the upper Tree House that was designed by famed architect Rober Byrd in the 1920's included, John Mayall, the famed GTO's (Girls Together Outrageously), the "Plaster Casters", Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Love, Janis Joplin, James Taylor, Mick Jagger, Mary-Ann Faithful, Jeff Beck and many others.
"It was also during this period that frequent cabin-guest Jimi Hendrix briefly resided in the Errol Flynn mansion to the north of the property. The mansion was once a home for "wayward women" and was also occupied in earlier years by notables ranging from Bugsy Siegel to W.C. Fields. The mansion is currently owned by Rick Rubin, co-founder of Def Jam Records and produccer of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, The Black Crowes and numerous others." - Mike Slarve Management.

In 1947, the Army Air Corps built its top-secret movie production studio on Wonderland Park Avenue. Military training films and Department of Defense documentaries were churned out, including a particularly famous series on the aboveground nuclear tests in Nevada. The studio was deactivated in 1969, and thanks to the efforts of the Laurel Canyon Association, it was prevented from being zoned for further commercial activity.

Steven Dale Ahern
Steven Ahern sees his psychiatrist about an "urge to kill Senator Kennedy". At the time he is an ex-Marine and gay nude model. It seems that Hal Call, president of the Mattachine Society, had a major impact on his life. He made a 'threatening' phone call from a phone booth on Laurel Canyon Blvd. Ahern is also a member of the American Nazi Party. Was Ahern a mind controlled assassin like Sirhan? Were Ahern and Sirhan connected somehow, both wanting to kill RFK?

I found the PDF but haven't looked, can anyone peek in and see if they spot any victims? I suspect that the Waldrop brothers were present at the S&M party Ahern was invited to by Ames and Corll.
Donald Wayne Waldrop (15)
Jerry Lynn Waldrop (13)
Everett Rufus & Mary Inez Hendrix Waldrop
The Waldrop brothers were dropped off at Larry Murphy's house. Larry says he wasn't home when the boys were dropped off. How did the Waldrop parents know about Roy Ames? What made Everette be so sure he heard a sex party going on? The boys were last seen 1-30-71, but the party is reported on 8-7-71, why? Was Steven Ahern, Dean Corll, Charles Anson, Roy Ames with Jerry and Donald Waldrop in the S&M party? Are the Waldrop brothers photographs in some of the published magazines? Why did Donald drop out of school? I have so many questions. I find it even more interesting that the family is from Atlanta.
Children Of God
David Hilligeist is 2 miles away from the Waldrop bros. He is also involved with some drug dealing teens. Hilligeist is thought to have been in Brenham at a Children of God colony.
Could Ahern have visited the Children Of God? A few other victims of Corll were also into the Children Of God. More on that later. There is so much to Dean Corll. I wonder is this another testing field for "supersoldiers" and MK-ULTRA ops.

FBI Records: The Vault | Roy Ames Part 01 https://vault.fbi.gov/roy-ames/roy-ames-part-01/view
Just recieved the FBI files on Guy Strait. Haven't been able to look through them yet but they're attached below.
The Houston Police Department rejected my FOIA request for Roy Ames, citing "Common Law" as the reason. Apparently it "contains information that has highly embarrassing facts about someone's public affairs which is deemed highly objectional and not of any interest to the public". That quote is not verbatim. Strange, seeing how Ames was convicted and served 10 years for his crimes. I wonder if that citation has less to do with Ames himself and more to do with others that were involved in the case. I would probably have to battle that one out in court but I don't have the resources for that sadly. The FBI seems to be processing my request for their file on Guy Strait, so hopefully that produces something. As soon as it does, you all will be the first to know.
I found some post-Corll stuff about Steven Dale Ahern who alleged that he had attended and S&M party with Roy Ames at one of Corll's apartments in Pasadena, TX. I appears that Ahern underwent some kind of religous conversion. He would seemingly spend his time writing to the editors of various newspapers ranting about conservative politics and Christianity.
Here's his reflections on the city of Houston in 1975:
Houston Chronicle, May 4th, 1975
He would write many letters to the San Francisco Chronicle, like this one prediciting a massive earthquake at the hands of God:
The San Francisco Chronicle, January 15th, 1979
The Las Vegas Review Journal, June 7th, 1978
San Francisco Chronicle, March 18th, 1976
I made two FOIA requests last night for Guy Strait's FBI files and the HPD Casefiles on Roy Ames when he was arrested and found to possess the 11 of photographs of Corll victims. Hopefully there will be some useful info in those.
Here's a bit more on William (Billy) Goebel Byars, Sr.; the father of Guy Strait's accomplice, Bill Byars Jr.
B. G. Byars Sr. was an oil wildcatter from Tyler, Texas.
Dallas Morning News, April 20th, 1941
Being in the Tyler, Texas oil world made him a millionaire. He was also friends with Clint Murchison Sr. and Sid Richardson, two of the richest men in their day.
San Diego Union, August 27th, 1954
Being in this circle naturally put him around many power players including J. Edgar Hoover and U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower (Billy Jr. in his interview with After Dark magazine even claims that his father was friends with Mexican Revolutionary Pancho Villa).
Daytona Beach Morning Journal, January 13th, 1961
He even got J. Edgar Hoover to attend his son's birthday dinner at Murchison's Hotel Del Charro (the newspaper clipping the aforementioned dinner is a few posts back in this thread). I have read, but not verified, that Byars Sr. had interactions with Jack Ruby. Anthony Sommers also reports that upon hearing the news of JFK being shot, Hoover dialed up 3 numbers:
The Secret Service
AG Robert F. Kennedy
Bill Byars Sr.
I have not personally seen documentation to confirm this, but that is what Sommers claims in his book "Official and Confidential".
In 1965, Billy Byars Sr. died.
The Beaumont Journal, October 7th, 1965
According to Anthony Sommers in the aforementioned book, the relationship between Hoover and Byars Jr. did not end with the Senior Byars' death. Byars Jr. was still recieving Christmas cards from the Hoover family, and, according to witness Charles Krebs, was trafficking boys from Lyric Productions to Hoover and Tolson in La Jolla, California. Hoover would die a year before Byars Jr. and Guy Strait are caught up in the October bust of the Lyric-DOM operation in the midst of the Dean Corll investigation from materials obtained from the Dallas bust of John David Norman.
Just found a picture of Tim Kerley. I don't think I've ever seen a photograph of him before.
Here's a bit more insight into Roy Ames from the son of prominent Huston family who was sold over to Ames' ring when he was 11:
The Plain Dealer, March 16th, 1980 (1 of 2)
(2 of 2)
Guy Strait's accomplice Billy Byars Jr. had some interesting guests at his birthday party...
San Diego Union, August 16th, 1961
There's more on this relationship in "Official and Confidential" by Anthony Sommers.

Huey Meaux and Doyle Jones behind the console, the Dawgs in front, from right to left: Bobby Sharp, Freddy Arechiga, Gaylan Latimer (in the striped shirt) and Jimmy Rogers filling in on bass. “This photo was taken at 2 AM, at Gold Star Studios in the summer of 1965” – Freddy Arechiga
"We were noticed by a DJ, Gene Kelly, of W-A-C-O, who approached us to make an album. Kelly was connected to Huey P. Meaux (Crazy Cajun Records) and thought that Meaux might be interested in producing The Dawgs. The next thing I know, we were in Gold Star Recording Studios – now Sugar Hill Studios — in Houston, TX recording an album of Bobby’s songs. Meaux signed Bobby Sharp after we had recorded the third song. Bobby was a natural in the studio; he was an excellent arranger as well."
Around this time Huey Meaux opened up Pasadena Teen Town, with an office and studio in a building nearby. At this location Gaylan recorded three solo 45s, starting with “Smokey Places” / “Think About Me” on Ventural in September of 1965, then “Think About Me” / “Her Loving Way” for national release on MGM in December, and another 45 on Ventural “I Better Go Now” / “Painted Lady” released in 1966. This was a different band than the Dawgs, and included Dennis “Crash” Collins on bass, Wallace Pelton on bass and keyboard, and a drummer named Tommy. They really rock on some of these songs, notably “Her Loving Way”.
It looks like Huey Meaux was pretty close to Corll, Ames, and the teens of Pasadena, Tx.
Army history
"Corll was drafted into the United States Army on August 10, 1964, and assigned to Fort Polk, Louisiana for basic training. He was later assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia, before his permanent assignment at Fort Hood, Texas as a radio repairman. Corll reportedly hated military service; he applied for a hardship discharge on the grounds that he was needed within his family's business. The Army granted his request and he was given an honorable military discharge on June 11, 1965, after ten months of service."

I just find it interesting how John Norman is mentioned to be one of the "main homos" in Los Angeles
So it seems that Norman, Corll, Ames, Meaux, and Ahern are connected while investigating the body of a 13 yr old boy found buried in a boat shed (James Dreymala) with potential child porn and possibly snuff films featuring him.
Roy C. Ames was last seen to have given Jerry and Donald Waldrop a ride to a Larry Murphy's house.
Donald & Jerry Waldrop
Mr. Waldrop states he heard what he thought was his son at a sex party on the date of 8-7-71 but they both were missing since 1-30-71. So we can confirm that Roy Ames is a definite lead to Dean Corll's boat shed! 🤔
How in the entire world did John D. Norman get pictures of a teen Dean Corll for his Travel Fellowships brochures? Does this mean the police investigated this connection? Was he a former cadet of the Delta Project?

@George K I believe has identified that John Norman lived in Hollywood.
In Houston’s gay society, the Heights is also known as Homo Heights because of the availability of teenagers like Wayne Henley, high school dropouts unemployable in skilled crafts, whose pale thin, poorly nourished bodies can be bought for a night of sex for a few dollars. They’re ‘’trade,’’ male whores and hustlers in the gray world who are paid to submit to homosexual encounters. Generally their homosexual contacts are confined to a passive level, thus affording them the privilege of stoutly maintaining their normality and masculinity. Products of poverty and ignorance, they are bewildering to psychiatrists as they are to themselves.
Male prostitution is something else–a fact of modern life that seldom warrants more than cursory examination by the press. Either people are ignorant of its existence or refuse to acknowledge it. It is one of those distasteful subjects more easily swept under the carpet than discussed.
Wayne Henley remembered that he once mentioned a group in Dallas that would do him some good. David Brooks also recalled that there had been talks around the house of the existence of a call boy ring in Dallas.
One of the young ‘’fellows’’ who turned up on the list turned out to be an escapee from a California prison. A couple of youths picked up at the Dallas home of Odyssey were booked on narcotics possession charges. Before a youth was accepted by Odyssey he supposedly underwent a ten day to three-week orientation period for the program. This, the operator of Odyssey maintained, was intended to weed out undesirables.
They’d drive the van, picking up kids and offering them rides. Once the youngster was in the car there came the suggestion, the offer of beer and grass. Then there were the parties. These were planned affairs and because they included several guests Corll’s murder instincts were cautious. They served a useful purpose though–giving him a line on the ‘’chicken’’ available.
When Houston’s television began to crowd the screen with running accounts of the search for graves and corpses, Mrs. Walter Scott could stand it no longer. She turned off the set and refused to answer the telephone. ‘’We feared the worst, so what was the use?’’ she said, her voice trailing away to nothing.
Her son, Mark, eighteen, had left home for a weekend trip to Mexico after being arrested carrying a prohibited knife. He sent his parents a postcard from Austin. ‘’How are you doing?’’ it read. ‘’I am in Austin for a couple of days. I found a good job. I am making $3,00 an hour. I’ll be home when I get enough money to pay my lawyer.’’
Like so many of the parents, Mrs. Scott remembered both Henley and Brooks. ‘’Wayne came over for a junior high school party. He was quite talkative. He was the first to arrive and the last to leave.’’
Brooks, she recalled, had once stayed overnight with Mark. During that visit Brooks evidently shot Mark with a BB gun.
In his confession Brooks told how the youth stood up to Corll and tried to get him with a knife. He ended up being strangled but his body was never identified. There was a quarrel in the Cobble home in the later part of July, 1973. Charles, seventeen, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. T.G. Cobble, left the home to share a furnished room with a friend, Marty Ray Jones, also seventeen. At first the Cobbles were not particularly concerned because they knew he was and were acquainted with young Jones’ parents. On July 26 the sons called both parents, saying they were in trouble and needed a thousand dollars. Jones told the police he feared the boys were involved with narcotics pushers. Neither was ever seen again. Their strangled bodies were found in the boat shed.
When the body of Billy Lawrence was found at Lake Rayburn his father, Horace J. Lawrence, recalled his doubts and suspicions of Wayne Henley, He remembered that Wayne had called his boy several times and had been at the house. Then there was a robbery. ‘’Whoever did it,’’ said the senior Lawrence, ‘’knew the layout. They got the stereo I had given my son for his birthday. They got cameras and film.’’ Lawrence heard about his son’s body being discovered when a friend called to say that he had read it in the newspapers. The authorities had not bothered to contact him personally. Said Lawrence, ‘’If some of these kids would realize what was going on in that jungle they would wake up and face the facts of life and face reality.’’
Corll didn’t fool the youngsters, however. When the murders came to light the Heights kids were asked what they knew about Corll. ‘’Dean was an alright guy,’’ said a number of them. ‘’But kinda spooky. He didn’t dig chicks. Seemed to hate them. There’s got to be something wrong in that.’’
After Dean’s death there was some reluctance among his friends to discuss him.
According to the Army, Corll’s record was excellent. There were no black marks whatsoever, no indications of homosexuality--nothing. Still there remain some unanswered questions. Whatever happened to the heart disease that barred Dean participating in juvenile athletics when he was in grade school? Why was his induction delayed until he was twenty-four? Had he claimed hardship before entering the service?
And, most importantly, what happened while Dean was in the Army and decided to apply for a discharge after only ten months? If he was vital to business at that time. wasn’t he just as important a year earlier?
No matter how you look at it, there appears something mysterious about Corll’s brief fling in the Army and to one friend, at least, it marked the turning point in his life, ‘’It’s my guess that he turned fag then,’’ the young man said. ‘’I saw signs of it when he got out, the way he acted, how he looked at me. He kept wanting to touch me. That wasn’t how I’d known him. There was something about him that was unsettling, so I simply stopped seeing him. Then I moved away from Houston and never gave the man a second thought–until there he was with his name and picture all over the newspapers. It was horrible. I didn’t know what to think. Then I read about all those young boys. I’d never suspected anything like that in the time I knew him before he went into the Army. Sure, Dean was nice to kids–like everyone else. But he wasn't chasing them around–or anything like that.’’
‘’He did a lot of business with that truck,’’ said Eugene Swandler, Corll’s next door neighbor on Lamar Drive. ‘’He always backed that van up so the side doors would open to the house. It was always parked that way–even after dark.
‘’I know it sounds strange never to have a conversation with your neighbor–not even saying hello, but he wouldn’t talk to me. But he spoke to my boy. ‘’Now, when I think of that, it gives me the creeps. He was very careful not to become acquainted with the people around here.’’ Swandler said he did notice Corll’s peculiar hours for coming and going and he said he knew and liked Corll’s father. ‘’Emotionally, he must be devastated,’’ Swandler said.
Why did the authorities call Corll the ringleader when there was the possibility that Henley and Brooks could have been lying in order to put the blame on Corll?
Have the police relied only on the words of the two youths?
How could the police be sure there were no others involved?
Could Dean have been killed because he knew too much? Maybe there was a homosexual ring in Houston, just like that was uncovered in Dallas?
Why has no one come up with proof of deviate behavior in Dean’s past?
If Henley was bound with tape over the mouth when he came to on the night he killed Dean how could he have ‘’sweet-talked’’ his way out of being slain, as he claimed?
Finally, if the accounts of the party in the bedroom in Dean’s house were true, why was the body found in the hallway near the telephone?
The Corlls believe their son was trying to call for help.
A telephone call to his mother before his death Mrs. West had the distinct impression that he was dodging someone, but Dean wouldn’t say what he was running from. He told his mother that he would see her in Colorado within a few weeks.
Had Corll not moved so frequently he might have gotten around to creating a ‘’playroom’’ especially designed to suit his tastes–one with thick walls, sound-proofing, torture racks and cases displaying his torture equipment–handcuffs, chains, nylon web straps, dog collars, leashes, etc. Corll, however, did not appear to be ‘’theatrical’’ in his passions– he was satisfied with commonplace equipment. He obtained his traps from the supply available at his work, and his only concession to drama appears to have been the medieval-type ‘’torture mask’’ which he probably picked up from a mail-order catalogue.
Court reporters learned that the Henley hearings were being held under extraordinary security precautions inside and outside the courtroom and the hearing room’s bullet-proof windows had been covered with paper.
Investigators and others connected with the case told of receiving several mail and phone treats on the lives of Henley and Brooks. Threats had even come in from outside Texas. Bailiffs permitted no one to enter or leave while the hearings were in progress, but they stopped short of searching those who entered.

Charles Cary Cobble (23rd victim killed by Corll)
Elliott brothers murder:
Daily News New York, New York 10 May 1974, Fri • Page 68

"Although this detail is given short shrift in media accounts, by the time of Elmer Wayne Henley’s pre-trial hearing Deborah had remarried—six months after Charles’ death, on December 13th, 1973, the youthful widow wed Martin Steven Elliott, age eighteen. Alas, their connubial congress would be brief—the star-crossed couple would separate within a few weeks. Deborah blamed the failure of her second marriage on her continuing grief over Charles Cobble’s death, and her husband, familiarly known as “Steve,” wrestled with tribulations of his own—Deborah was not the only spouse in the doomed union grieving the loss of a murdered loved one. Steve Elliott’s little brother had recently been slain by an unknown assailant, and the grim pall of tragedy would erelong revisit the Elliott family doorstep.
On November 15th, three weeks before Steve Elliott’s foray into short-lived marital bliss, his younger brother Ronald Elliott, age twelve, had inexplicably vanished. Other members of the Elliott family—father Martin Sr., mother Betty, and six brothers ranging in age from twenty-four to eleven—joined law enforcement in a frantic search for the missing child, but no trace of Ronald could be found."
"The scene which greeted investigators at Ronald’s murder site was surreal: a deflating yellow balloon bobbed near the child’s desecrated corpse, and a half-eaten hardboiled egg lay nearby—both objects used as lures, detectives believed, to entice the child into the forest. Ronald had been emasculated, carved from stem to stern, and his throat slashed so deeply he was nearly beheaded. Dean Corll was dead and Elmer Wayne Henley imprisoned, but still the boys of Houston were dying apace.
Police had no suspects in the ghastly crime, and although Ronald’s loss remained fresh to his devastated kith and kin his murder soon faded from the Houston headlines. As the months passed the Elliott family’s deep wounds of grief did not heal but ceased to bleed so freely, and Steve Elliott’s brief but tumultuous marriage served as a reminder that, painful though it can be, life goes on.
And for six months life did go on—until May 8th, 1974, when another Elliott brother went missing."
"Unlike Ronald’s stealthy disappearance, however, several people had spotted Kenneth shortly before his murder—he’d been seen walking in the direction of the woods with Lawrence Strempel Jr., a mild-mannered tenth-grader who lived with his divorced father a block away from Elliott clan. At fifteen, Strempel was small for his age; at 5’3” and barely a hundred pounds he more closely resembled a child of twelve than an average-sized high school sophomore."
"Before detectives from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department were able to locate Strempel for an interview a major breakthrough occurred—a worried father, large pocketknife in tow, visited the stationhouse with a story that cast a damning light on the pint-sized agriculture aficionado.
The man’s son was a classmate of Strempel’s, and the tipster told detectives Strempel had asked his son to hide the aforementioned pocketknife on Strempel’s behalf.
Investigators quickly deduced the implement in question was consistent with the five-inch blade
used to murder the Elliott brothers; circumstantial evidence against “one of the sweetest and nicest boys around” was mounting.
Strempel was interrogated later that evening, and when confronted with these incriminating circumstances the teenager quickly confessed to killing both Ronald and Kenneth Elliott.
One day he bought a 600-power telescope, set it up in the backyard and focused it on a farm a mile away. His grandmother was impressed when she peered through the lens, and was startled at the closeness of the farmer working by his barn. She turned to Dean and shushed his talk, afraid the farmer would hear. Dean told the story many times with amusement.
His best friend in high school said, ‘’Dean liked the girls as much as the rest of us, and when we went to the drive-in movies we spent most of our time trying to make out with our dates.’’
It was in a back room of the candy factory that Dean Corll invited children in for free candy. He installed a pool table in the back room and taught the youngsters to play pool. He amused them with a huge green frog he had rigged up. It’s eyes would light up when the telephone rang. By pushing a button, Corll could talk with the caller while playing pool.
Dean Corll loved to play with children and treated Wayne like a son, Mrs. Henley said. Wayne loved him like a father. ‘’I know Dean must have done something terrible to Wayne to make Wayne shoot him.’’ She said the only time Corll ever got angry was when she would joke about his age, and then ‘’his eyes would flash. He couldn’t take kidding about his age.’’
Mrs. Henley said Wayne had dropped out of Hamilton junior High School in 1970 after a family quarrel which ended with the boy’s father beating Wayne and taking a pistol shot at her. The Henley’s were divorced shortly thereafter, and Wayne began working longer part-time hours to supplement her income as a cashier.
‘’I don’t understand this man,’’ Mrs. Henley said of Corll. ‘’He ate Easter dinner with us and he worked on my car. He loved kids and he would drive over in his white van with a black couch in the back and a dozen kids would pile into the back and he would take them for rides.’’
Wayne said Corll had talked about an organization or group that would supply him with thousands of dollars. But, said the youth, ‘’I didn’t believe him because Dean lived poor - he just had an old TV set, no stereo, and just a transistor radio. He’d be broke once a month when the bills came in.’’
‘’Wayne seemed to enjoy causing pain, and he was extremely sadistic at the Schuler address.’’ (Corll had lived in a house on Schuler and Washington Avenue in 1971 - one of the at least a dozen houses or apartments he had lived in during the three-year period of 1970-73.)
Asked by a reporter if he had implicated Brooks in the killings, Henley’s answer was succinct: ‘’I did not. David hung himself.’’ He told reporters again that he became involved with Corll at Brooks' invitation, but that he earned money at laboring jobs to help support his mother and brothers. ‘’David lived most of his life off Dean,’’ Henley said. ‘’But I worked.’’ He said this with some pride. Then he gave words of advice to his interviewers and suggested they pass it along to their readers. ‘’You’ve got to warn these kids against hitchhiking,’’ he said. ‘’That’s how we picked up most of them.’’
David Brook's father has never issued a statement or commented publicly about the boy's relationship with Corll.
How had Corll-Henley-Brooks gotten away with their activities for so long? How had such a large number of youngsters been subtracted from such a small neighborhood without parents becoming suspicious of foul play? And, more importantly, just what the hell had the police been doing while at all this was going on?
And Corll’s immediate neighbors paid little or no attention to him at his various addresses. He was never reported to police as a peace disturber. No one ever suggested to authorities that he might be luring young boys into his apartment for immoral purposes. No one apparently heard pistol shots in his apartments or the cries of the tortured.
At the Westcott Towers, a maintenance man one day found four bullet holes in the door to Corll’s apartment. He replaced it without question. Later, after Corll and Brooks had moved out, a steel plate was found positioned against the inside of the door. Neither the bullet holes nor the steel plate aroused curiosity for the police to be notified.
Corll’s immediate neighbor at 2028 Lamar Drive said he was asleep during the morning of August 8. He heard nothing even though Henley emptied his pistol into Corll’s body. Corll worked on his white van in the driveway to his house almost daily. He usually had the side doors of the van open ‘’as if he were loading or unloading’’ something. And, the neighbor said, Corll’s garage doors were usually open. The neighbor said David Brooks visited Corll’s home only twice, as far as he could recall. He identified Brooks from a newspaper photograph.
Another neighbor, two doors away, said, ‘’People in their houses really can’t hear anything going on in another house.’’ The wife of a Pasadena policeman who lived directly across the street from Corll’s home said, ‘’We didn’t hear gunshots or anything else coming from his home at any time.’’ And, she added, other neighbors had never come to her home with stories of suspicious happenings at 2020 Lamar Drive. She said her husband was asleep when Corll was killed and heard nothing.
Another neighbor said he sometimes had helped Corll repair his van, and that Corll would visit him and discuss electronics. Another neighbor said Corll was a ‘’real good neighbor and a real good guy who kept his hair and his lawn mowed all the time. He could be pretty witty and funny.’’
At the time of his death he was an electrical relay tester at the company's big power complex on South Main Street at Hiram Clark Road, a short distance from the boatyard.
Corll explained his feelings about killings to members of his crew of electricians one day while they were sitting around and waiting for a rain storm to subside. The talk was about war and women. Corll had never opened his mouth about women during the five years one of the group had worked with him at the power company. Someone said war was a ‘’scary thing.’’ more so the killing of a man even if he was your enemy. Corll, listening quietly as usual, uttered one of the few serious comments he had heard to make. ‘’Once you kill one, the rest come easy,’’ he said.
His companions knew Corll was an ex-serviceman, and could only assume he had been killed during battle. ‘’Now I know where a lot of our nylon cord went,’’ the fellow worker said. ‘’I read in the newspapers that some of the boys were strangled with this cord. This is a one-half inch nylon cord that we use to pull cable through tubing. The cord usually would get dirty and we would throw it away. Corll would take it with him. I think he got the plastic (rolls) from Baylor, where his daddy worked. We’d stop there occasionally and get some. But we didn’t have any indications he was a nut. He was a good worker and a quiet guy.’’
In Rome that Saturday morning, the Pope (or someone close to him) wrote an editorial entitled ‘’Horror’’ in reference to the Houston mass murders. In it he declared, ‘’We are in the domain of sadism and demonism. This is beyond the borderline of crime because it is beyond the borderline of reason. What wicked force can produce such a degradation - we were about to say dissolution - of man?’’
The editorialist answered his questions by declaring that such degradation was produced by sex and drugs.
Houston Police Chief Short said no pattern was apparent in the disappearances. (The Juvenile Division had pulled files and identified the pattern for the Homicide Division once they obtained the names and addresses of the first three victims mentioned by Wayne Henley.) Short said news stories indicating there were ‘’links’’ among the various victims and the suspected killers were ‘’myths’’ created by the media. (This, after Brooks had told in his statements how he, Henley and Corll had obtained the boys and had explained that many of the victims were their friends.)
Mr. Hilliegiest, an employee of the City of Houston street marking department.
The alarm in the Heights section crystallized 10 days after the first bodies were found. A mass meeting was held in the West 14th Street Baptist Church. Parents of boys who had been identified as Corll’s victims were on hand - and so were parents of missing teenagers. Joining them were federal, state and local officials.
Into this meeting strode a man carrying an axe, a rifle, a pistol and two tear gas canisters. He placed the axe and rifle on the floor and sat down near the front of the church with the pistol and canisters still in his hands. State Representative John Whitemore hastily summoned Lieutenant Joe Skipper of the Houston Juvenile Division. Skipper sat down beside the man and identified himself as a police officer. At this, the man lunged toward his axe and rifle. Skipper, with Whitemore’s assistance, pinned his arms and wrestled him to the floor.
The man identified himself as Earl Verne O’Brien, the father of four children. He said he had brought his arsenal to the meeting to show parents how easy it would be to kill children. He said he was a Scoutmaster, that he had camped on the beach where bodies had been found and now realized how close he had come to being involved in the crime. ‘’I love children, and I want to help them,’’ O Brien explained as he was led away to jail to be charged with carrying a pistol. The weapons were not loaded.
Chief Short did not attend the meeting, nor did Captain Horton of the Juvenile Division nor Inspector H.D. Caldwell of the Police Community Relations Division.

Steven Dale Ahern - nazi/gay connection
So Ahern was gay prostitute and nazi party member (American Nazi Party most likely) and he knew Dean Corll. Now I have some faint clue about meaning of this:
Jeffrey Kaplan (ed.) - Encyclopedia of White Power: A Sourcebook on the Radical Racist Right
So we have here nazi gays in satanic church headed by a Jew. Minuteman was not nazi organization but James K. Warner was a founding member of American Nazi Party. Dennis Patrick Mower - member of Church of Jesus Christ, Christian (organization that formed super nazi Aryan Nations) (by the way: Aryan Nations - Kehoe brothers - serial killer Israel Keyes)
Some people think that Troy Haughton was Zodiac killer:

Memorial Services will be held November 22, 2014, Saturday at 11AM at South Main Baptist Church located at 4300 East Sam Houston Pkwy Pasadena TX 77505.
There are differing opinions about whether all of Corll's victims were found. Henley and Brooks, who both declined interviews for this article, told of 27, all killed between 1972 and 1973. Former Pasadena Police Detective Dave Mullican, who was assigned the case, believes all were accounted for. Lt. Ed Goad, who was Mullican's supervisor, thinks there are more and that Henley and Brooks know of them. Former Harris County District Attorney Carol Vance, who prosecuted Henley and Brooks, says he simply doesn't know and doubts that anyone ever will.
And Sue McLemore believes that, not only are there more bodies, but there may have been other accomplices, accomplices she knew.
McLemore has reason to suspect. One of those killed was her brother, Willard K. "Rusty" Branch. Moreover, for the better part of two years she and her brother were regulars at Corll's apartments.
They knew Corll, Henley and Brooks well. Before the trio strapped Branch to Corll's plywood and strangled him in February 1972, the Branch siblings spent two or three days each week mingling with the numerous other youths who gravitated to the movable feast of cheap drugs at Corll's. Marijuana and spray paint were the staples, with airplane glue and assorted pills added. Often as many as 14 or more youths lounged in Corll's living room, passing the stubs of marijuana cigarettes, sniffing glue and "baggin"' paint.
Usually, 16-year-old Rusty Branch brought his little sister with him. She was small, even for 11. Thin, with wide-set, trusting eyes. Always unobtrusive, she rarely spoke. Usually unnoticed, she was allowed to remain. She often sat under the kitchen table, breathing in acrylic bliss from paint-soaked towels in a paper bag while the party progressed around her.
"All these kids knew each other, or knew Henley or Brooks," she said. "My brother had met Henley at the SPJST swimming pool like a lot of the other kids and, when Rusty was supposed to be taking care of me, he'd take me over to Dean's."
The SPJST pool, operated by a Slovakian fraternal order, was a magnet for Heights teen-agers in warm weather and it was a favorite hunting ground for Henley and Brooks.
Sue McLemore didn't know Henley and Brooks were procurers, that they were dispatched by Corll to lure other boys. She didn't know Corll kept the "torture board" in his bedroom, or that many of the boys who dropped out of sight were being murdered there. She only knew the parties at Corll's apartment offered companionship and spray paint in a grocery bag.
McLemore, 34, has lung damage today to remind her of the bags. She also has hazy memories of the bizarre world in Corll's apartment, memories of events that would have triggered alarm if not viewed by a child through a prism of drugs. Some of those memories were buried in self-defense. From day to day, if she didn't recall them, she didn't have to think about them and, if she didn't think about them, they weren't real.
Years of psychiatric counseling and hypnosis have brought some of them back.
"I remember, once, sitting under the kitchen table and there were four boys sitting under the other end, nude, smoking marijuana," she said.
"Dean came walking in naked and I said, "Dean, I'm hungry.' He put some mayonnaise on a piece of bread and handed it to me and I started eating it and one of the boys started laughing at something.
"He just kept laughing and laughing. And then he was choking and he started turning blue and he was on the floor. I said, "Dean, there's something wrong with him,' and Dean picked him up over his shoulder and started walking out of the room toward his bedroom with him. The boy was throwing up then and his bladder emptied. He was overdosing, but I don't know what Dean did with him back there. I remember I thought, "He's dying,' but it didn't seem so strange at the time.
"Back then it didn't seem so strange for somebody to turn blue.
"There's another one. It's not all clear, but I remembered Corll buying me a dress at Weiner's on 34th. I can remember Corll's hands being so large when he helped me put it on. I was sitting on the console in the front of his van when we drove over and he had a cloth just behind the seat that covered the back. He never let me in the back. And there was a smell coming from behind that cloth.
"I didn't know what that smell was then, but I know now. He had a body back there."
She also remembers four older men who were often in Corll's bedroom, a room the younger teen-agers were told not to enter. Two of those men are now dead, one from a drug overdose and another by murder. A third, a 39-year-old Texas prison inmate, convicted of sexual assault of a child, refused to be interviewed. McLemore does not know who the fourth man was or where he is now.
"I looked at mug shots down at HPD and identified (the three)," said McLemore. "I don't know what those guys knew about or what they didn't, but I know they were in the bedroom with Dean a lot and he never let me back there."
After Corll's death, Pasadena police searched his bedroom and found his 8-by-3-foot plywood board with eyebolts at the corners to fasten restraints, eight pairs of handcuffs, a large knife, a gas mask and a box containing a 14-inch dildo and a tube of petroleum jelly. In one apartment, he was said to have bullet-proofed his bedroom door with a sheet of steel.
"It would have been hard to be back there without knowing something was going on," said McLemore.
McLemore and her brother continued to be regulars at Corll's for the better part of two years until sometime in February 1972, when Rusty simply wasn't at home anymore.
"My father said he ran away, that he'd gone to California," said McLemore. "He'd left before, so I wasn't surprised. But then I didn't hear from him and I knew something was wrong."

Corll's organization (?)
https://www.reddit.com/r/Mafia/comments/fqjkck/gay_mob_associate_headed_boy_toy_crew/
"Sam Hoover was a two-term mayor in Pasadena, Texas and a prominent criminal defense attorney but beneath the respectable front lurked a sociopathic thug. The FBI identified Hoover as an associate of Biaggio Angelica who was among the top mobsters in the Lone Star State, and Hoover's principal racket during the 1950s and into the mid-1960s was running an interstate burglary crew comprised largely of teen boys with whom he was sexually involved. The wise guys were fully aware of Hoover's taste for troubled boys -- many of whom he kept in living quarters dubbed 'the dog house' behind his own residence -- and that Hoover was fully immersed in Houston's lively gay nightlife. However, Hoover's sexual proclivities never seemed to undermine his underworld position."

"I appreciate your interest in Hoover, and no problem in asking about the backup sources. The FBI investigated Hoover as part of its Top Hoodlum program in the late 1950s and I obtained the files and wrote about him in my book Queer Joints, Wiseguys and G-Men (not to pimp the book too much but the Kindle version is only .99 cents): "Vareece Berry, the former police chief in Pasadena, told the FBI that Hoover was 'a well-nown homosexual among the hoodlum element in Harris County, TX,' and not the least of them was Biaggo Angelica. Angelica made his bones with gambling boss Sam Maceo from Galveston. *** The FBI uncovered a working relationship between Angelica and Hoover, and the pair often met at Hoover's Pasadena home and office. On December 23, 1958, Angelica bombed a health clinic in High Island, Texas, and upon his arrest police found a certified check on him payable to Hoover." Furthermore, "an informant advised that in October 1959 Hoover visited Dallas 'to meet two 'dagos' (Italians) from Kansas City' in connection with his burglary racket." Hoover was a fascinating character notwithstanding his degeneracy - not for being gay but for sexually abusing and otherwise exploiting teens - and was big enough in the underworld to capture the FBI's attention as a "top hoodlum" in that field office."
Maybe, I should remove that Reddit link?

Is this ''Tiny'' ? @10:25min - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zkOVRmVnS4
Thanks for pointing that out, it seems NYPD favours closing their 'sensitive' cases by fitting up Latino mental patients to take the fall. Mike Codella, said that the information provided by Tiny was solid. He also said in the Opperman interview that he didn't want the family of the Etan Patz to discover their son's horrific fate. He said it was best at this juncture to have them believe the Pedro Hernandez substandard-IQ confession. It kind of makes sense, rather than to introduce this to them with limited evidence relying primarily on credible eyewitness testimony. He's still building the case and gathering more evidence and has collaborated with fellow NYPD detective Jimmy "Boots" Rothstein. The truth is, Etan Patz's body has never been found and recovered. I'll go back over the Ellen Jane Hoover information closer. There's a researcher who goes by the name of James1983 and his information seems to almost rival Maury Terry's, I wish he'd sign on and post here at PTK. It's astonishing how much information he's got on Westchester alone.
I concur 100% with your assertion, I believe such sloppy and careless investigation was carried out deliberately as well. One can only imagine how many valuable leads and information came from actual eyewitness statements and people who called in with tips. Only to be all summarily discarded to fit-up a mental patient to take the rap. Again, one only need look at the dates of the attacks to see not only a pattern. It also begs the question, if this was a random organic perpetrator, why did they just suddenly stop? Moreover, why didn't they continue their assaults on any other dates throughout that 2-year timeframe?
There's another high-profile case of the disappearance of Etan Patz that shook New York on May 25, 1979. 6 year-old Etan was abducted from Prince Street and West Broadway on his way to the school bus stop. His home was located at 113 Prince Street in the SoHo section of NYC and his abduction was 2 blocks from his home. Boy's Club of New York (BCNY) located at 135 Pitt Street is a 21-minute distance to his location in nearly a straight line from his home. It may mean something, or it may mean nothing at all, but I think there's something to look into at BCNY and possible paedo operations. New York Detective Mike Codella, who investigated the Son(s) of Sam case and Process Church connections, uncovered specific information on what happened to the missing Etan Patz. In 1996 or 1997, Codella was working missing persons and was reached out to by a biker nicknamed 'Tiny', incarcerated in Attica Prison who wanted to give him information regarding Etan Patz. The informer/biker was Vice-President of the motorcycle club "The Rat Pack" who were hired to provide perimeter security and secure the premises for Process-connected rich people in the Yonkers, Westchester area when they performed satanic rituals. He tells Codella that during one evening during a cult ritual he is witness to he hears them beckon a child by name calling him Etan Patz to be brought forth whom Tiny recognises as the missing child. He thinks that they are just going to bless him as they put him on a makeshift altar, measure him and then chant satanic prayers over him. The biker then said shortly afterwards, they sacrificed the child. Tiny also stated that this sacrifice only occurred after a period of time he was being held captive and that prior, Patz was subjected to sexually assaults and passed around the cult. Codella says that his informer was credible and all his other information panned out. The biker had a huge amount of information and knew Roy Radin, Berkowitz and others connected to the Westchester cult and included other shootings that weren't classified nor attributed to Son(s) of Sam. The informer also confirmed that there were active satanic cult members operating on the Lower East Side of New York. Codella corroborated this by stating he personally witnessed and knew of a cult of dark magic practitioners operating near Tompkins Square Park. Just so you know, BCNY is located just 7 blocks south of Tompkins Square Park.

A87star, thanks for hunting down and contributing these very helpful news clippings which add some buried facts. For one, all of these rape, mutilation and murders of these young boys occurred not under the cover of darkness, but in broad daylight. At least 4 of the incidents occurred on rooftops in full view of the surrounding buildings and voyeurs, where noticeable screams (unless the children were drugged) would be heard even over the usual urban cacophony. The perpetrator(s) were exceptionally vicious, sadistic and seems to have carried out nearly every violation they could on their victims. They also performed the same ritual of removing the shoes of each of the victims and placing them neatly next to their bodies. These Ripper-like atrocities took time with malice aforethought, just how was the killer able to walk away with obvious blood upon their person in daylight? Also, there had to have been bloodied footprints left along with a blood-spotted trail left in the immediate aftermath. Why wasn't this used to help track down the monster who had to have lived nearby? The perpetrator in the un-named boy incident, carried out his atrocities on the roof and then carried him down to the hallway where he was discovered by a neighbour. The 10 year-old victim had been sodomised, castrated and stabbed repeatedly in the neck and back which would have left the attacker shockingly covered in blood. Erno Soto may or may not have committed the Steven Cropper atrocity, but one fact that is known is the maimed, un-named child who survived, utterly refused to state Soto was his attacker and asserted emphatically that it was another man. It seems rather convenient to lay all the blame on a pathological psychopath, lacking in cognitive mental capacity and as you'll see later below, there may be a reason. Soto took all the blame, much like David Berkowitz did after his arrest. In the above article it states "Witnesses in the unsolved murder cases have been asked to look at Soto in lineups, but the results have not been divulged". That's key, and can only be explained as being due to the results failing match the fit-up narrative being constructed to make Soto the fall guy. Also, does anyone else reviewing this case find it odd that one of the primary detectives in the case is literally named Klan? I think it provides some insight into the calloused, almost spiteful and indifferent mindset of the NYPD district commanders to assign a Detective Sergeant Edmund L. Klan Jr. to a case involving the murders of African-American and Latino children. In the article 'Parents Demand Police Press Hunt for Killer Pervert', it stated “In addition to murder and mutilation, numerous children in the area have been accosted on the streets by a man described as between five-feet-8 and five-feet-10, 37 to 40 years old, with a slim build and gray hair”. Then it goes on immediately to describe the suspect (in a literary way that almost conflates the two) as possibly of Hispanic origin, has a small bump or mole on his left cheek and a series of pock marks on his chin. These are the descriptions of two different perpetrators, targeting the exact same neighbourhoods and racial demographic of child.
Note, Steven Cropper the final victim, was found on a roof in a completely different part of the city from the rest of the Charlie Chop-Off victims, at 323/325 East Houston Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The other 4 victims were located on the upper West and East Side of Manhattan roughly 8 miles uptown. The Boy's Club of NYC (BCNY) is located at 135 Pitt Street just a 2-minute walk around the corner and down the street from the building's roof of 323/325 East Houston Street where Cropper's body was found. BCNY at Pitt Street was also a favourite haunt of artist Keith Haring who was a known pal and consort of Robert Mapplethorpe.
Polaroid of Keith Haring with members of the Boy’s Club, Pitt Street, New York City, 1987
According to eyewitness Jose Rosa, alleged friend of Steven Cropper's, both of the youth used to go to the Boy's Club on Pitt Street where Steven once confided in him that a man approached him offering him candy. I believe that Cropper was attacked by a different perpetrator, piggy-backing off the Charlie Chop-Off crimes, as police reports state Cropper was not castrated and was reportedly not raped. He was however slashed to death with a razor, with an X carved deeply from his shoulders to the sides of his abdomen. Someone obviously doing so to leave a specific message of sorts. The Boy's Clubs of New York was originally established by railroad magnate Edward Henry Harriman (paedo red flag!) who was once quoted as saying "Cooperation means 'Do as I say, and do it damn quick.'" E.H. Harriman is the father of banker and proxy Nazi financier Averill Harriman. Finally, allow us to examine the dates of the incidents which align reasonably close to known dates of satanic significance with the exception of Steven Cropper:
Douglas Owens - March 9, 1972, although the New York Time listed it as March 4th.
Un-named boy who Survived - April 20th, 1972
Wendell Hubbard - October 23rd, 1972
Luis Ortiz - March 6th, 1973
Steven Cropper - August 17th, 1973
Excellent points a87star, I believe they are all connected and not to be dismissed as coincidence, nor isolated incidents. The more evidence that's uncovered and discovered indicates this was a wide-spread and highly organised, state-sponsored terror campaign. That is many faceted and includes the Zodiac Killer(s), Symbionese Liberation Army, The Zebra Murders, Manson and The Family and a slew of serial killings and their perpetrators.
George and Jan, I want to share a case with you that is virtually unknown and occurred in NYC 1972 - 1974. It's a case I've been following for years and thought that it had possible Process connections as it fits their M.O. for criminal violence engineered to terrorise, very similar to state-sponsored Operation Gladio (Brabrant and Beast of Florence incidents in particular) strategies carried out in Europe. The Charlie Chop-Off case is also almost a precursor to the Atlanta Child Murders as it is very similar in target and methodology. This unsolved case attributed the crimes to an enigmatic figure dubbed Charlie Chop-Off by horrified children during the spree. The crimes specifically targeted African-American and Latino boys 10 years-old and under. The perpetrator(s) brutally assaulted five in total, sodomising, sadistically stabbing and castrating all of the victims save one. To me the children were assaulted and murdered in a ritualistic manner as genitals were severed and carried away in three of the cases. Four were killed and one child although castrated and maimed miraculously survived his attack and provided the essential description of his attacker. "A mid-30ish, white but olive-skinned (possibly Italian) stranger; introducing himself as Michael, the man had a slender build, bad skin and a prominent mole on his left cheek. The victim, preternaturally observant for his age, also noted his soon-to-be attacker was right-handed, walked with a limp, had foul breath and stood approximately 5’7” tall."
In Jan's post title 'Beaumont, TX - New York II' I found something intriguing, in the 2-7-74 police discussion of the paederast Elliott "Eli" Shomer. The police report details, “They also had info that Shomer fit the description of the WM (White Male) wanted for murdering and cutting off the penises of five NM (Negro Males?) in New York City". If you review the Charlie Chop-Off case you'll see that not only did the NYPD barely care to the point of public rage there were up to 150 suspects questioned. Much like the Son(s) of Sam case, there were different eyewitness descriptions of the suspects in this too, and they finally hung the killings on a chronic mental patient named Ernest "Erno" Soto whom two-thirds of the police actively working the case rejected. It seems that higher-ups in the NYPD wanted this case to be gone and neatly dispensed with. Could there be more victims that were ignored or not investigated and grouped with the other victims very possible as the police only seemed to act only after 3 of the boys had been murdered.

It's a profoundly disturbing case that's haunted me for a while and I've always thought there was a lot more to the story, as it literally terrified citizens of the Upper West Side of Manhattan for two years. Does it relate to the Elliott Shomer paedophile network, I can't say, but I do know that I haven't heard of any other case of murder and penis severing going on in NYC during that same time. I've read many stories on this case and there has only been one book which somewhat covers it. I found this post that did the best job of documenting it here: https://ididitforjodie.com/2018/06/13/charles-in-charge-a-charlie-chop-off-reinvestigation/ I urge anyone who's interested to review it as this was a case that traumatised New Yorkers just 3 years before they experienced an new terror called Son of Sam. More than a coincidence I believe, anyway, food for thought and grounds for further investigation. Was this possibly the Process or another connected cult's field test for future organised murder sprees?
Another possible link between pedophile activities in New York and Texas involving Corll: he reportedly had an acquaintance in Nassau County NY who knew where over a dozen bodies were buried.
On p.18 of Houston PD report document 6 (just prior to the Eli Shomer info):
When I first read this, it definitely made me think of the Son of Sam cult, though there wasn't enough information to easily pinpoint who Megiel was.

https://casetext.com/case/people-v-shapiro-21
"In Indictment No. 143, Shapiro was accused of engaging repeatedly in a course of homosexual sodomitic acts on various occasions over a 17-month period between July, 1972 and November, 1973 with eight different high school boys each of whom was under the age of 17."
"That night, members of the New Rochelle Police Department, the Westchester County Sheriff's Department and the District Attorney's office, executing a search warrant based largely on evidence that derived from court-ordered wiretapping of defendant's telephone, gained admission to Shapiro's residence. From the intercepted telephone conversations, the police had learned that two of the defendant's adult friends, Eli Shomer and Ronald Senn, planned to bring two young teenage male "prostitutes" to Shapiro's home to perform sex acts for hire and that another adult, Brian Dowling, was also to join in these activities."

Huey Meaux, Charles Winans and... Charlie Manson
http://www.laventure.net/tourist/sdq_hist.htm
In 1964, Doug Sahm's Markays found themselves sharing the stage with Augie Meyers' Goldens, both opening for British headliners the Dave Clark Five. For several years, Sahm had been pestering producer Huey P. Meaux, nicknamed the "Crazy Cajun," to record him. Meaux, feeling successful with acts like Barbara Lynn and Dale And Grace, was not interested. However, the producer soon found himself without a market when Beatlemania hit America.

"On the evening of March 15, 2007 Charles Francis Winans passed peacefully into eternal life after an adventurous and creative time on this Earth."

My Trip With Squeaky: Just One of Charlie's Girls
By Paul Krassner
"I had hoped to get confirmation of the heaviest lead in my research. I'd been tracking down the path of Charles Winans, an individual in Navy intelligence who had posed as a hippie artist, orchestrating the scenario of violence and witchcraft in meetings with Tex Watson, who then fulfilled the prophecy of this agent provocateur with all that shooting and stabbing. Manson had merely instructed his ladies to go and do whatever Tex told them.
But Squeaky, Sandy and Brenda had never heard of Winans."
"When I asked about Charles Winans, Susan Atkins replied, "Oh, yeah, Tex took me to sleep with him. And he gave us dope."
Keeping my adrenalin rush anchored inside, I explained who he was and the others teased Susan: "Ha, ha, you fucked a CIA guy." "
Roy C. Ames
Houston PD report
http://cavdef.org/w/index.php?title=Dean_Corll
"No one man caused more harm to Houston's music community than Roy Ames, who passed away August 14 of natural causes at age 66 at his home in West University. [...] Child porn and Gulf Coast music and memorabilia were Ames's favorite wares to sell, and the way he went about peddling and acquiring both was not dissimilar. He coerced people into making the stuff for him and then sold it on the sly, legal consequences be damned. [...] By the mid-'70s, Ames had other concerns: the first of several pornography busts and convictions. In 1974, he was indicted by a federal grand jury in Houston on a charge of conspiracy and ten charges of mailing obscene material. He was subsequently arrested on two counts of sexual abuse of a child and six charges of compelling the prostitution of a child, and in 1975 police raided his home and carted off literally two tons of obscene material. Four years later, the sexual abuse and prostitution charges were dismissed, but by then Ames was already in federal prison for other charges relating to sex offenses with minors and distributing kiddie porn through the mail. The upshot of all of this was that Ames was incarcerated from 1975 to 1986."
TODO: is Roy Ames connected to Huey Meaux?

Henley's deposition (Houston or Pasadena PD report - I don't remember)
Steven Dale Ahern and RFK assassination
Houston PD report
("investigative poetry" from Ed Sanders - info is true but presented in strange form)
March 24, a Sunday
RFK’s Defenses Perhaps Tested by Robo-Washers
After landing in Los Angeles the afternoon of the 24th,
a huge crowd followed RFK through
a lengthy tunnel at the airport out to the street
and then on the way to the rally
bumper-to-bumper traffic w/
autos abandoned along the roadsides.
RFK spoke to 11,000 filling
& spilling beyond the Greek Theater in LA.
Nearing the close of his talk that day
RFK said, “The failure of national purpose
is not simply the result of bad policies
and lack of skill.
It flows from the fact that for almost the first time
the national leadership is
calling upon the darker impulses
of the American spirit—not, perhaps
deliberately, but through its action & the example
it sets—an example where integrity, truth, honor
and all the rest seems like words
to fill out speeches
rather than guiding beliefs.”
Those who robo-washed Sirhan
may have tested RFK’s defenses at the Greek Theater:
The day before the rally, a young man named Steven Ahern
called the Greek Theater & announced,
“There is a bomb inside.
It will go off tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 p.m.”
The first campaign trip flying to California
Ahern later told the FBI: “I knew prior to making this bomb
threat that the Senator was to address a rally at the Greek Theater
at 4:15 p.m. the
day after I made the telephone call.
“Later that same day (i.e. the day before Senator Kennedy
was to appear at the Greek Theater) at approximately 4:00 p.m.
I telephoned the Los Angeles Times and told
whoever answered the telephone that
‘Senator Kennedy will be shot.’
“At approximately 1:00 p.m., I telephoned American Airlines
at Los Angeles International Airport and told whoever answered the
telephone, ‘Senator Kennedy
will be shot when he lands.’
“This call to the airport was made from a public
phone booth on Laurel Canyon Blvd.
“Immediately after making the telephone call to the LA Airport
I drove to the airport and saw Senator Kennedy land and
was even able to shake his hand.
“After having seen the Senator at the airport, I drove to the
Greek Theater where I observed the entire Kennedy rally.
“I originally made the three calls involving the
aforementioned threats in order to
see what news that it would create.”
Ahern told the FBI that on Monday, March 31,
he made an appointment with his psychiatrist
at Olive View Sanatorium, a Dr. Cagle.
(Olive View is located in San Fernando,
not far from LA.)
Ahern wanted “to explain that he had an urge to kill Senator Kennedy
for some reason which he was unable to explain within himself.”
The FBI reported that Dr. Cagle, hearing of Ahern’s
threats and his urge to kill RFK,
informed Ahern’s probation officer,
a man named Gottleib in Van Nuys,
“and Gottleib arranged to have Ahern’s probation suspended
on May 3, 1968, in Division 20,
Municipal Department number 95, Superior Court,
LA County for a Sanity Hearing.
“Ahern was interviewed by two court-appointed psychiatrists
who declared Ahern legally sane on May 10, 1968.” On May 15,
a Municipal Court judge sentenced Ahern to 3 years
“active probation under the supervision of Officer Gottleib on
condition that Ahern regularly see a psychiatrist.
