When I was young I used to attend a hippie dippy music festival that occurred annually in my town that was a bit odd. The posters had similar occult imagery as the 13th floor elevators used. I believe the organizers of the event were college professors. There were always older, military looking men with buzzcuts and expensive cameras lurking in the shadows. Sometimes they’d pop out to take pictures of us now and then... I assumed they were undercover cops at the time, but looking back perhaps there was something else going on. I’ve never seen anything like it at other venues. .
